ANAHEIM PASTOR CHARGED WITH SEX ACTS
AGAINST 7 AND 11-YEAR-OLD PARISHIONER GIRLS
IN HIS HOME AND CHURCH OFFICE
*Charged in separate case with molesting three additional children; two girls and a boy
WESTMINSTER – A pastor of the Faith in Action Church in Anaheim, who is awaiting trial for molesting three children parishioners, two girls and one boy, was charged today in a new case for sexually assaulting two additional female victims when they were children. In the case filed today, Raul Rosas Hernandez, 42, Stanton, is charged with four felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 14, four felony counts of lewd acts on a child, and one felony count of unlawful sexual intercourse for Jane Doe #3. He is charged with 13 felony counts of lewd acts on a minor under 14, two felony counts of distributing pornography to a minor, and one felony count of the aggravated sexual assault of a child for Jane Doe #4. He also faces sentencing enhancement allegations for substantial sexual conduct with a child and lewd acts on multiple children for Jane Doe #3 and Jane Doe #4.
In a separate case filed in 2006, Hernandez is charged with two counts of felony lewd acts upon a child under 14 for Jane Doe #1, and three felony counts of forcible lewd acts on a child under 14 for Jane Doe #2. For John Doe, Hernandez is charged with three felony counts of lewd acts on a child under 14. He is also charged with failure to appear in court on a felony while out on bail and sentencing enhancement allegations for lewd acts on multiple children and committing forcible lewd acts.
The People will request to consolidate the charges from the two cases into one. If convicted on all charges, Hernandez is facing a maximum sentence of life in prison. He is being held on $1 million bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on the new charges tomorrow, Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at the West Justice Center in Westminster.

Between August 14, 1997 and February 13, 2006, Hernandez is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting Jane Doe #3 when the victim was 7 to 15-years-old. He is accused of digitally penetrating and orally copulating the victim in the bedroom and bathroom of his home.
Between January 4, 2001 and June 12, 2003, Hernandez is accused of molesting Jane Doe #4 when she was 11 to 13-years-old. He is accused of digitally penetrating, orally copulating, and forcing the victim to have sex in his home. He is accused of forcing Jane Doe #4 to have sex with him in his church office and setting up a camera to record the sex acts.
