DA Sponsors Outreach Booth at Annual Tet Festival in Garden Grove
GARDEN GROVE — The Orange County District Attorney’s Government and Community Relations unit will be hosting a booth at the annual Tet Festival on Saturday, Feb. 16 and Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002 at Garden Grove Park, 9301 Westminster Blvd.
District Attorney Tony Rackauckas, staff, and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions from the public and to disseminate bilingual pamphlets and resource booklets. The District Attorney’s Office hosts the booth to outreach and to educate the Vietnamese community about the criminal justice system and the role of the District Attorney’s Office in their community. The booth will also feature prize drawings, free face painting, balloons and informational pamphlets.
Rackauckas will also take part in the Tet Festival parade on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The booth will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the entire weekend. Rackauckas will be present at the outreach booth following the Tet Festival parade.
