Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos)
SANTA ANA —The District Attorney’s Office will celebrate the Day of the Dead along with the Hispanic Arts Council of the Bowers Museum this Sunday, October 27, 2002. Admission is free and it will be held at the Bowers Museum Courtyard, 2002 North Main Street, Santa Ana from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m.
The Office’s Government and Community Relations unit will host the Children’s Corner, which will provide free face painting and all materials needed to create arts and crafts related to Día de los Muertos. District Attorney staff will be available to interact with the public, pass out resource and education material, and answer questions about the criminal justice system.
This is a great opportunity to spend an enriching afternoon with your family. The Children’s Corner is part of the ongoing commitment of the District Attorney’s Office to help improve the quality of life in the communities it serves.
