District Attorney Participates in Black History

SANTA ANA — District Attorney Tony Rackauckas will be participating in the Black History Parade & Cultural Faire on Saturday, Feb. 2.

Rackauckas will be riding in a convertible. Other parade participants include state Assemblyman Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana) and state Sen. Richard Ackerman (R-Irvine).

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. marching south on Broadway Street from Washington Avenue. The day will continue with a Cultural Faire, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Civic Center parking lot. Food, music and entertainment for children will be available. Vendors will also be selling their wares.

The event is sponsored by the Mission With Benevolence Foundation, Black History Parade Advisory Board, the city of Santa Ana and the Orange County Register.
