FEMALE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER TO BE ARRAIGNED FOR HAVING UNLAWFUL SEX WITH STUDENT

LAGUNA NIGUEL – The Orange County District Attorney filed charges against a Trabuco Hills High School English teacher for having unlawful sex with a male student.  Alyssa Ann Johnson, 31, Tustin, is charged with three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse, three counts of oral copulation of a minor, and one count of sodomy with a person under the age of 18.  If convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.  The defendant is currently out on $50,000 bail.   She is scheduled to be arraigned December 21, 2006 at 8:30 a.m. in Department S-2, Harbor Justice Center, Laguna Niguel.   

Between July 4, 2006 and November 14, 2006, Johnson is accused of having unlawful sex on multiple occasions with a student whom she met while teaching at the high school.
