FIVE TO BE ARRAIGNED FOR ELABORATE AUTO THEFT RING FOR STEALING DOZENS OF TRUCKS
AND SELLING TO UNSUSPECTING BUYERS

 

SANTA ANA – Five defendants will be arraigned tomorrow for stealing and selling dozens of pick-up trucks in an elaborate automobile theft ring in Orange County. The defendants (listed below) were arrested yesterday, Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, by the multi-agency Orange County Auto Theft Task Force (OCATT). The defendants are being held on $500,000 bail each and must prove the money is from a legal and legitimate source before posting bail. They are scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at the North Justice Center in Fullerton. The time and Department are to be determined.
