HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER’S AID TO BE ARRAIGNED FOR SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH FEMALE STUDENT
LAGUNA NIGUEL – A high school teacher’s aid will be arraigned Monday for having a sexual relationship with one of his students at Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Margarita. Evan Molina, 23, of Laguna Niguel, is charged with one felony count of sexual penetration with a foreign object of a minor. If convicted, he faces three years in prison. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, September 11, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. in Department S-2, Harbor Justice Center, Laguna Niguel.
Between June 1, 2006 and September 5, 2006, Molina is accused of having a sexual encounter with a 17-year-old girl, Jane Doe, in his Laguna Niguel home. Molina is accused of meeting the victim at the school, where he worked as a teacher’s aid. School officials reported the relationship to the police.
