SANTA ANA – A husband was sentenced to 40 years to life in state prison today for shooting and murdering his estranged wife in her Santa Ana home. Jose Antonio Garcia, 38, Santa Ana, was found guilty by a jury, June 25, 2012, of one felony count of murder with a sentencing enhancement for the personal discharge of a firearm causing death.
On the morning of Oct. 16, 2010, Jose Garcia took a firearm and went to the Santa Ana home of his estranged wife, 34-year-old Adriana Garcia.
