MAN CHARGED WITH MOLESTING THREE YOUNG
TEEN BROTHERS HE MET THROUGH CHURCH
FULLERTON – Charges have been filed against a 41-year-old man for molesting three brothers whose family he befriended through church. Martin Chavez Ramirez, 41, Anaheim, is charged with three counts of lewd acts upon a child under 14, three counts of oral copulation with a person under 14, two counts of sodomy of a person under 14, oral copulation of a minor under 16, sodomy by force, and child annoyance. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 38 years in prison. Ramirez is being held on $300,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow, Friday, March 16, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. in Department N-3, North Justice Center, Fullerton.
Between June 1, 2002 and June 30, 2006, Ramirez is accused of molesting three brothers in his Anaheim home. The brothers were between the ages of 13 and 15 when the molest began. He is accused of meeting the boys at Eastside Christian Church in Fullerton, befriending the family, and grooming the brothers. During overnight visits at his home at the home of the victims, Ramirez is accused of masturbating, orally copulating, or sodomizing the boys.
