MAN CHARGED WITH RAPING AND
SEXUALLY ASSAULTING THREE WOMEN
AFTER MEETING THEM IN BARS
*One of the rapes occurred while defendant was out on $250,000 bail
NEWPORT BEACH – A Lake Forest man has been charged with sexually assaulting three women he met at bars while they were intoxicated. Sekayi Rudo White, 29, is charged with two felony counts of forcible rape for Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #3. He is charged with felony assault with the intent to commit rape, felony sexual battery by restraint, and felony criminal threats for Jane Doe #2. White also faces an allegation for committing the crimes against multiple victims and a sentencing enhancement for committing a crime while out on bail. White was arrested and charged with the sexual assaults of Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2, on October 16, 2006, and was out of custody on $250,000 bail when he is accused of raping Jane Doe #3.
If convicted on all counts, White faces a maximum sentence of 30 years to life in prison. He is being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday, April 6, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Department H2, Harbor Justice Center, Newport Beach.
On December 23, 2005, Jane Doe #2, 44, was at Fox Sports Grill at the Irvine Spectrum. White is accused of meeting the victim and offering to drive her home because she had been drinking. He is accused of taking Jane Doe #2 to her Newport Beach apartment and asking to use the bathroom. White is accused of going in to the bathroom and then running out naked and throwing the victim to the ground. He is accused of trying to tear off her clothes and rape her as she screamed, and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the attack. The victim continued to scream and White is accused of fleeing the scene.
On August 13, 2006, White is accused of meeting 19-year-old Jane Doe #1 at Atlanta Lounge in Huntington Beach. He is accused of offering to give the drunken victim a ride home, and instead driving her to his apartment. Jane Doe #1 passed out, and woke up naked in the defendant’s bed, where he is accused of removing the victim’s pants and panties and unsuccessfully attempting to rape her. Sometime later, White is accused of forcibly raping Jane Doe #1. He is accused of then dropping her off at a convenience store, where her friend picked her up.
