SANTA ANA, Calif. – A man is scheduled to be arraigned today for murdering a man and shooting a second victim outside a club in Westminster. A second man was charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Circumstances of the Case
- In the early morning hours on Oct. 28, 2017, Tran and Chau are accused of being at Club Bleu on Beach Blvd. in Westminster.
- Tran is accused of firing multiple shots in the direction of 53-year-old Huy P. and his associate, 47-year-old John Doe, outside of the club at approximately 1:30 a.m.
- Huy P. was shot in the head and was transferred to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead as a result of the gunshot wound.
- John Doe was shot in the lower body and survived his injuries.
- Both defendants are accused of fleeing the scene after the shooting, and Chau is accused of driving Tran away.
- The Westminster Police Department (WPD) investigated this case and arrested Chau on Oct. 31, 2017, near his residence in Fountain Valley.
- Tran was arrested by WPD on Nov. 2, 2017, at 12:30 a.m. at his residence in Santa Ana.
