MARRIED PASTOR TO BE ARRAIGNED FOR HAVING UNLAWFUL SEX WITH 16-YEAR-OLD GIRL
FULLERTON – A married pastor will be arraigned tomorrow for having sex in his church office with a 16-year-old female parishioner. Ronald Hernandez Tovar, 56, Placentia, is charged with three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and one count of oral copulation of a minor. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison. Tovar is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow, Friday, February 9, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. in Department N-12, North Justice Center, in Fullerton.
Between August 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006, Tovar is accused of having unlawful sex with a 16-year-old parishioner. He is accused of having unlawful sex with the girl on multiple occasions in different locations, including his church office in Anaheim Hills. Tovar is a pastor at The Shadow of the Almighty church in Stanton.
