MECHANIC CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING
TWO WOMEN IN CAR SERVICE REPAIR PIT
WESTMINSTER – A mechanic was charged today with sexually assaulting two women on separate days in the service pit of car repair shop. Adrian Montano Fuerte, 38, Tustin, is charged with forcible rape and sexual battery by restraint. He faces a maximum of nine years in prison if convicted and is being held on $250,000 bail. Fuerte is scheduled for arraignment on January 11, 2008 in Department W-14, West Justice Center, Westminster.
On October 30, 2007, Fuerte is accused of luring Jane Doe #1 into a service pit at an Econo Lube and Tune in Garden Grove, where he worked as a mechanic, under the guise of showing her repairs that needed to be performed on her car. Once inside the dark pit with no cameras, Fuerte is accused of raping the victim. On December 14, 2007, Fuerte is accused of luring Jane Doe #2 into the pit using the same excuse and sexually assaulting her by grabbing her breasts and biting her ear.
Deputy District Attorney Lynda Fernandez of the Sexual Assault Unit is prosecuting this case.
