WHO: Orange County District Attorney (OCDA) Tony Rackauckas and the Orange County Board of Supervisors (BOS)
WHAT: BOS adopted an ordinance to require annual registration of alcohol, narcotic, and drug abuse treatment programs with the Orange County Health Care Agency, to promote the coordination of substance abuse prevention efforts within the County and to protect the vulnerable population in need of such services. Chairman Andrew Do, Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, and Supervisor Michelle Steel voted yes for the adoption of the ordinance.
