WHAT: DeAngelo was charged today with four felony counts of murder with special circumstances sentencing enhancements for multiple murders, lying in wait, and murder during the commission of rape, robbery, burglary, and sodomy. The defendant is accused of murdering 24-year old Keith H. and 28-year-old Patrice H. in 1980 in Dana Point, raping and murdering 28-year-old Manuela W. in 1981 in Irvine, and raping and murdering 18-year-old Janelle C. in 1986 in Irvine.
