WHAT: Despite opposition by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, the Board determined a criminal street gang member, Raul Puente Robles, 33, formerly of Santa Ana, is suitable for parole. The inmate was convicted and sentenced to life in state prison in 1995 for the attempted shooting-murder of a rival one year earlier.
