WHAT: Will attend the Seal Beach City Council meeting Monday in support of enacting a City Ordinance to create a child safety zone in city parks to further protect children from registered sex offenders. The County Ordinance makes it a misdemeanor for registered sex offenders to enter County recreational areas where children regularly gather. Many other cities have passed similar ordinances and/or are in the process of passing city ordinances.
