WHO: Orange County District Attorney (OCDA) Tony Rackauckas and his Chief of Staff Susan Kang Schroeder

WHAT: Would like to congratulate District Attorney Spokesperson Roxi Fyad on her new appointment as Public Affairs Manager for the Costa Mesa Police Department. They would also like to thank Ms. Fyad for her exceptional work in the Public Affairs Unit since 2007, serving first as a staff assistant and rising through the ranks to become the spokesperson in 2015. Before joining the Office, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Chapman University. Ms. Fyad’s last day at OCDA is tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, and any media inquiries will be handled by the Chief of Staff and the Public Affairs Unit.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Roxi. She has done excellent work here at the DA’s Office, and I’m very happy for her as she advances in her career. The Costa Mesa Police Department will benefit from her expertise on how to address media inquiries to enhance public safety. I’m sure she will do well in her new challenge and we all wish her well,” stated District Attorney Tony Rackauckas.

“I have had the pleasure of watching Roxi grow in her career and develop new skills. The OCDA looks forward to working with the Costa Mesa Police Department on many issues and cases that involve both offices, including human exploitation and trafficking,” said Chief of Staff Susan Schroeder.
