WHO: Zachary Joshua Reeder, 30, Orange
WHAT: Reeder is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon. He is charged with 34 felony counts of distributing pornography to a minor, 34 felony counts of contacting a child with the intent to commit a lewd act, 34 felony counts of using a minor for sex acts, six felony counts of committing a lewd act upon a child, one felony count of control possession and control of child pornography, and one felony count of bringing obscene matter into California. Reeder’s maximum sentence is to be determined, but he faces mandatory lifetime sex offender registration if convicted. The People will be requesting the defendant be held on $3 million bail at his arraignment.
