OCDA TO HOST INFORMATION BOOTH AT ORANGE COUNTY’S LARGEST CINCO DE MAYO FESTIVAL TO CELEBRATE MEXICAN HERITAGE THIS WEEKEND

SANTA ANA – The Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA) is proud to be a participant in the 11th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration this Sunday, May 2, 2010, beginning at 12:00 p.m. This free family festival will be held in downtown Santa Ana on 4th Street, between Main Street and Mortimer Street.

The 2010 Cinco de Mayo Celebration is in honor of Mexican heritage and will feature live music and performances, carnival rides, games and prizes, food, art and culture vendors, and exhibitors from local business, government, and law enforcement agencies.

Last year the OCDA hosted an informational booth and over 150,000 people attended the festival.

The OCDA Government and Community Relations Unit will host booth #58 and will be speaking with visitors and handing out information in English and Spanish about the criminal justice system, victims’ rights, domestic violence, fraud, and identity theft. The booth will be located on 4th Street, between Main Street and Bush Street.

The OCDA booth is sponsored by Miniondas Newspaper.
