ORANGE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE TO HOST BOOTH AT 37TH ANNUAL TET FESTIVAL“YEAR OF THE DOG”
*OCDA will host booth W-28 with English and Vietnamese resources
COSTA MESA, Calif. – The Orange County District Attorney’s Office (OCDA) is proud to participate in the 37th Annual Tet Festival on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018. The 2018 Tet Festival is a celebration of the Vietnamese New Year, “Year of the Dog,” and will feature entertainment, games, prizes, food, art and culture vendors, and exhibitors from local businesses, government, and law enforcement agencies. This event will take place at the OC Fair and Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.
To encourage community participation in law enforcement and community awareness regarding public safety, the OCDA Government and Community Relations Unit will host booth W-28 and will be available to speak with visitors and provide information about OCDA in English and Vietnamese. The materials will cover information regarding victim resources, crime prevention, the criminal justice system, and the negative consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The festival is organized by the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations.
