ORANGE COUNTY MARRIED FEMALE MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER TO BE SENTENCED TOMORROW FOR MOLESTING THREE BOYS
Who: Sarah Bench-Solario, who was a married, 28-year-old schoolteacher for Santiago Middle School at the time of the offenses
What: Sentencing for Bench-Solario convicted of 29 counts of molesting three boys ages 12 to 14 at the time of the molestation. The boys were seduced by Bench-Salorio over dinner, through emails and phone calls for months, before the defendant would start molesting them. The sexual offenses with John Doe #1 occurred between October and December 2004, while the sexual offenses with John Doe #2 occurred over a 16-month period that ended in September 2004. She was also charged with molesting a third boy who she mouthed “I love you” to during her preliminary examination hearing.
When: 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2006.
