THIRD STRIKER AND REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER
FACES AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES FOR MOLESTING TWO LITTLE GIRLS
FULLERTON – A registered sex offender will be arraigned tomorrow for aggravated sexual assault charges after molesting Jane Doe #1, 11, and Jane Doe #2, 10. Darren Scott Hulbert, 38, Anaheim, is charged with two counts of the aggravated assault of a child and three counts of forcible lewd acts on a child under 14 for Jane Doe #1, and lewd acts upon a child for Jane Doe #2. He also faces a life allegation for committing the sexual assaults against more than one victim.
Hulbert is a third striker with two prior strike convictions for attempted forcible rape and attempted robbery. If convicted, Hulbert faces two life terms. He is being held on $1,000,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow, October 25, 2006, at 8:00 a.m. in Department N-3, North Justice Center, Fullerton.
On multiple occasions between March 1, 2006 and June 1, 2006, Hulbert is accused of forcing Jane Doe #1 to orally copulate him and perform other sexual acts. He is accused of possessing several nude pornographic photos of Jane Doe #1 in sexual poses. Hulbert is also accused of possessing a nude pornographic photo of Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2 in a sexual pose together.
