ELDERLY MAN WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MARIJUANA
SANTA ANA, Calif. – A woman will be arraigned tomorrow for the vehicular manslaughter of an elderly man while she was under the influence of marijuana.

Circumstances of the Case
- On Aug. 6, 2017, at approximately 8:20 a.m., 81-year-old Clark Adams was stopped at a red light on Santiago Canyon Road in Orange.
- Giglio is accused of driving under the influence of marijuana, approaching the intersection in her sedan without slowing or stopping for the red light, and colliding with the rear end of Adams’ vehicle.
- The defendant is accused of creating an impact that caused the victim’s vehicle to go across the intersection, fatally injuring Adams, who was pronounced dead at a hospital later that day.
- Giglio is accused of displaying objective signs of intoxication including erratic behavior and dilated pupils. Blood test results showed levels of THC in the defendant’s system consistent with recently smoking marijuana.
- Orange Police Department (OPD) investigated this case and arrested Giglio in Anaheim on Oct. 17, 2018.
